Apryl is a committed mental health professional dedicated to enhancing mental health services in our community. With over 30 years of experience in public healthcare, including more than 20 years exclusive to mental health, Apryl brings a distinctive perspective cultivated in various settings, such as group homes, hospitals, and corrections.
Her journey, akin to many, reflects resilience and perseverance, as a first-generation high school/college graduate native to Terre Haute, she proudly acknowledges her education from the “School of Hard Knocks,” Apryl has complimented it with formal education at Ivy Tech, SMWC, and IUPUI, alongside post-graduate training through LEND (Leadership, Education, Neurodevelopmental, and related Disabilities) along with some advanced training in Perinatal Mood Disorders.
Treating most ages of individuals from diverse backgrounds, Apryl specializes exclusively in psychotropic medication management for mental health concerns in an integrative holistic approach. Recognizing the harsh realities faced by many in our community, her goal is to contribute positively to the solution rather than add to existing challenges with a heavy focus on education.
